Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. in Krakow, Poland is seeking a part-time intern to join the Administration & Facilities team and contribute to mission critical communication systems.

You will cooperate with Test Team developing tests in Python, learn testing frameworks, and participate in project planning, testing and R&D activities while expanding the lab by configuring network equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical university student (3rd–5th year) in IT, SW Engineering, Telecommunication or similar.
• Familiarity with Python, Linux and Git.
• Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. PyTest).
• Strong communication in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with Test Team developing tests in Python.
• Develop domain knowledge about mission critical communication systems through exploratory and manual testing.
• Participate in project planning, execution, testing and R&D activities.
• Bring QA mentality into the team.
• Support expansion of the laboratory by installing and configuring network equipment.
• Contribute ideas to enhance test automation setup.
