Job summary

Aptiv PLC is offering a engineering internship in Kraków to support data pipelines and analysis across JIRA, MATLAB, Python, and requirements tools. You will develop visualizations and reusable notebooks, while learning systems engineering practices and AI-assisted workflows.

You will work part-time or full-time with hybrid onsite policy, using Linux tools, Git, and common data formats. English communication is required, with a team that values collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BSc/MSc in Engineering.
• Comfortable with Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn) and MATLAB.
• Demonstrated use of LLMs in coursework or projects.
• Basic terminal applications (bash, SSH) proficiency.
• Clear communication of technical findings; ability to turn analysis into actionable visuals.

Responsibilities

• Data operations & analysis: Maintain and triage JIRA tickets; download, organize, and version data files; analyze datasets with MATLAB and Python; produce summaries and notebooks.
• Visualization & reporting: Create clear plots from MATLAB/Python outputs; compile findings into short reports with reproducible steps.
• Systems engineering support: Check requirement status/coverage; maintain traceability; write and execute queries.
• LLM/AI-assisted workflows: Use LLMs to assist data exploration and documentation; apply tool-use chains and task decomposition to automate tasks.
