Qualifications

Ph.D. (preferred) or MSc with strong industrial research in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong foundation in power electronics and control.
Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques to engineering problems.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, and/or PLECS.

Responsibilities

Develop AI-enabled software workflows for power electronics design, simulation, and validation.
Drive design automation using AI/ML, optimization, and surrogate modeling.
Validate design space exploration and system-level optimization for power electronic converters.
Build AI-assisted simulation pipelines integrating ML with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, and/or PLECS.
Collaborate with local teams in Kraków to ground AI in practical converter design challenges.
Disseminate results through technical reports, patents, and publications.
