Job summary

Hostinger seeks a Senior Localization Team Lead to guide a large in-house team of linguists and an on-demand freelancer network. You will shape localization in every market Hostinger enters and lead data-driven quality improvements with a strong emphasis on performance and growth.

The role combines people leadership with strategic execution, owning complex challenges and collaborating across Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align localization with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in localization, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on background as translator/editor/proofreader.
• Experience coordinating freelancers across markets with onboarding/offboarding.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to connect localization work to business outcomes.
• Fluent collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Localization Specialists with psychological safety and growth.
• Manage and scale external freelancer network across markets from sourcing to offboarding.
• Translate business goals into localization plans and coordinate with PMs.
• Evaluate priorities against team capacity and market realities.
• Own complex localization challenges, launches, and AI-human review models.
• Identify recurring quality issues and implement process improvements with partners.
• Investigate performance issues, drive end-to-end resolutions, reduce noise.
• Evaluate AI and localization tech to improve quality and efficiency.
