Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Frontend Designer with deep UX foundations to join our Product Development team in the Digital Practice. The role focuses on AI‑augmented design workflows and delivering high‑impact digital products.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior designers and our product manager, contribute to the design system, and progressively ship UI in a React (TypeScript) codebase, balancing design craft with frontend execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional design experience with shipped digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrates depth in interaction design, IA and visual craft.
• Strong proficiency with Figma including components and prototyping.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end product design work alongside senior designers.
• Translate design intent into new, consistent work and patterns.
• Collaborate with product manager to produce design artifacts for AI‑augmented dev teams.
• Contribute to design tokens and the design system for AI tooling.
• Assist in refining acceptance criteria and ensure design intent ships in code.
