Phoenix Technologies is seeking an AI Design Engineer to blend UX craft with production-grade front-end work. You will turn rough page concepts into polished, data-driven interfaces and ship new flows fast, using our Storybook system and AI tooling.

You will engage with merchants, study conversion and activation signals, write Playwright tests, and own the end-to-end experience from idea to live product. Our startup pace rewards clarity, speed, and ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience turning rough designs into production UI.
• Familiar with AI tools and design systems.
• Able to ship in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Turn first-pass pages into polished, production-ready UI and design and build new flows end to end.
• Sit in on merchant calls and demos, translate feedback into design decisions.
• Own end-to-end experience from idea to live product and measure impact.
• Write and run Playwright tests to ensure stability.
• Ship quickly using Storybook and AI tooling.
