Business Financial Group (BFG) is seeking an early-career Content Writer with 1 to 2 years of professional content-writing experience to join our marketing team. The role focuses on SEO-focused blogs, newsletters, social content, and other educational material, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and clarity.

The ideal candidate writes clearly in English, has sharp editing skills, and understands AI-assisted content development, including writing effective prompts and refining AI-generated drafts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, Commerce, Finance, or another relevant discipline.
• 1–2 years of professional content-writing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong English grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
• Ability to understand information and communicate it clearly.
• Practical experience using AI tools for content development and writing effective prompts.
• Ability to critically evaluate and improve AI-generated content.
• Ability to follow briefs, instructions, and brand guidelines accurately.
• Ability to manage assigned work, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research unfamiliar business, accounting, tax, and financial topics using reliable sources and internal SME input.
• Write SEO-focused blogs based on approved content briefs.
• Create newsletters, social media content, and other educational content.
• Follow approved messaging, keywords, content structures, brand guidelines, and internal-linking requirements.
• Create structured AI prompts with context, objectives, audience, source material, constraints, tone, and outputs.
• Use AI tools for content ideation, outlining, and improvement.
• Fact-check AI-assisted and researched content before submission; flag content needing SME review.
• Develop content from approved source materials, SME interviews, transcripts, webinars, and existing resources.
• Identify repetition, generic language, poor structure, and other quality issues; edit drafts into original content.
