Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Program Manager, AI Control Plane within OCTO AI C4E to lead a cross-functional, flagship AI governance and telemetry initiative. The role blends technical programme management with product leadership for an internal data product—the enterprise AI telemetry dashboard that informs investment decisions and governance across the organization.

You will coordinate across engineering, security, legal, and business units, own the dashboard backlog, and drive adoption of governance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programme or project management experience across product, engineering, and operations.
• Product management or product-owner experience for technical or data products, including shipping a v1.
• Vendor coordination with major enterprise technology partners.
• Working understanding of AI, data engineering, or cloud architecture to translate constraints into plans.

Responsibilities

• Translate AICP strategy into executable plans, workstreams, owners, milestones and dependencies across Pearson units and functions.
• Run programme cadence and reporting: status, risks, decision logs, steering committees, working groups; coordinate external delivery partners.
• Drive governance and security capability adoption across business units with onboarding targets.
• Act as product owner for the enterprise AI telemetry dashboard: define personas, prioritise backlog, and ship v1 with prototypes and design mocks.
