Job description

The client already has a team. What they don't have is you.

Our clients companies in the Gulf, Europe and the US run long-term teams with Boldare. Those teams are self-organizing: they talk to the client directly, run their own Scrum, and Tech Leads own the technical side. But self-sufficiency doesn't happen by itself. Someone builds the culture that makes it real, notices which stakeholder is stuck before they say so, and runs each engagement so smoothly that nothing needs escalating. That's this role.

This is a long-running service, not a project. There's no scope to defend and no deadline to hit. The client owns the product. You own how we work together.

What you'll actually do
  • Build and protect the culture that keeps a team self-sufficient: openness, direct feedback, ownership. This comes first everything else works only if this does.
  • Run a few client engagements in parallel, in English, every day. Each client should feel like they're your only one.
  • Be the person the team and the client reach when the team can't resolve something itself. Decide what goes back to the team, what gets solved on the client's side, and when to bring the Business Unit Lead in.
  • Keep mixed teams (Boldare plus the client's own vendors) aligned on priorities and communication. You set the working norms together with the team; Tech Leads set the tech.
  • Run health checks and retros with the client, 1:1s with the team, and write agreements down where the next person will find them.
  • Notice when a client needs more than they're getting a new skill in the team, a bigger scope, a second team and bring it to the Business Unit Lead.
  • Grow into the operations of your engagements: day-to-day first, then renewals and settlement as the client's scale allows. We're building tooling that takes the mechanics off you.

Strategy for each client is built together with the Business Unit Lead, who also joins conversations with senior stakeholders and has your back. The rest is yours to run.

Who we're looking for
  • Someone who wants this. You take responsibility before anyone hands it to you, you'd rather act than wait for the perfect brief, and you want to grow fast this role is built for exactly that.
  • You've worked directly with clients in software delivery in an agency, consultancy or product studio for at least a year or two. You've had at least one uncomfortable client conversation and came out of it with the relationship intact.
  • You've changed how a team works, not just run its ceremonies. You can tell us what was broken, what you did, and how you knew it worked.
  • People give you honest feedback because you give it first.
  • English you work in, not English you passed. Polish for the team.

Things we'll ask you to show, not list: how you decide fast when a call is reversible and slow when it isn't; how you keep several stakeholders with different agendas straight; how you work Slack-first and async across time zones.

Nice to have
  • Engineering fluency: you follow a technical discussion and can tell when someone is hedging. You won't review code we have people for that.
  • Reading contracts: caps, gates, key personnel. You'll grow into this. You won't negotiate them.
  • Experience with Middle East / GCC or other clients with formal procurement.
  • You already use AI tools to prepare, summarise and draft and you know the draft isn't the decision.
The honest part

Some weeks the PO won't answer, the approval will sit with three people, and a key person will go on holiday the day a client asks a hard question. Your job is that we notice on day one, not day twenty, and that the client never wonders whether anything is happening. You'll have self-sufficient teams and a BU Lead who builds strategy with you and doesn't need to approve your day-to-day calls. The conversation is yours.

How we recruit
  • CV plus a one-minute video in English: one client conversation you'd handle differently today.
  • A short screening call, then a 15-minute live call with a "client" a real, anonymised scenario from our Gulf work.
  • A 90-minute role interview, including how you've built openness and ownership in a team.
  • A trial day in Gliwice: one delivery scenario, one written follow-up, coffee with the team.
