Job summary

Infosys Limited in Poland is seeking a Producibility Engineer (Aerospace, MRO) to contribute to repairability analyses, repair scheme development, and acceptance criteria for gas turbine engine components. The role requires strong GD&T interpretation, aerospace standards knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will define repair procedures, draft inspection manuals, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while supporting continuous improvement in MRO workflows.

Qualifications

• Aero-engine MRO exposure is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine engine modules (compressors, turbines, combustion, structures).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs and technical publications.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with aero engine component design or non-conformance assessment is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Investigate in-service events, service-induced damage, and non-conformances; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Assess component repairability and develop, review, and approve repair schemes, acceptance limits, and serviceability criteria.
• Define and validate acceptance limits for repair and serviceability of components.
• Develop and implement repair procedures in compliance with aerospace standards.
• Create detailed inspection and repair manuals and technical documentation for engine components; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for MRO workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, OEM standards, and aviation safety regulations.
• Design modification of gas turbine engine components for cost reduction and issue resolution; review concessions and drawings via DAR process.
• Perform fit, form and function analysis and tolerance stack analysis using 2D/3D layouts in UG.
• Collaborate with Stress engineer, Air system, Materials engineer; participate in technical reviews and concession boards; liaise with customer authorities.
