YOUR ROLE

• Defining and technically supervising over materials for harness productions, cables, bus-bars, flat-cables, data cables including Sustainability materials;
• Implementing and verifying of Customer requirements into material, cable, flat-cable, data cable and sustainability testing procedures;
• Implementing projects related to the thermoplastic materials, cross-linked materials and sustainability;
• Continuously developing and upgrading existing materials;
• Coordinating material testing, thermal and mechanical simulations of compounds (bio, recycle), cables, flat cables;
• Independently leading advanced development and implementation projects;
• New technologies implementation, focusing on bus-bars, flat-wires and sustainability initiatives;
• Engineering supervision over the production of prototypes;
• Preparing and performing tests according to customer specifications and international standards;
• Reviewing the product circle from the very beginning through prototyping to the serial production;
• Local and global planning of actions to reduce risk factors;
• Cooperating closely with all departments involved in development and production of automotive components and new markets;
• Collecting, updating and sharing experience from previous projects;
• Applying the quality system in daily work and adhering to H&S (Health & Safety) rules and procedures;
• Coordinating, maintaining and developing contacts with suppliers;
• Right scheduling and managing of work, prioritization of tasks and reporting performance to the manager, on-time execution of assigned tasks;
• Technical support for production plants;
• Managing, maintaining, and developing global M-specifications for cables and bulk materials (e.g., compounds, tapes, tubes), including sustainable products;
• Overseeing the global M-specification release process for cables, bulk materials, and sustainable products.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• M.Sc. Eng. Degree – preferably Chemistry, Material Engineering or related;
• 5 year professional experience;
• Very good Microsoft Office skills;
• Fluent English;
• Ability to work as a team member;
• Ability to travel internationally preferred.
