Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S), part of the ERGO Group, seeks an Actuarial Data Scientist to develop advanced pricing models and AI-enabled solutions for risk selection and pricing strategies. You will work with underwriting and business teams to deliver analytics-driven decisions.

The role requires 3+ years in actuarial/data science, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and experience with ML/DL frameworks. Remote work is possible within Poland, with offices in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Actuarial Science, Data Science or related analytical field.
• Proven skills in Python, R and SQL; experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong statistical modelling and data visualisation capabilities.
• Experience applying predictive analytics in insurance pricing or risk modelling.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine predictive pricing models using GLM, ML and deep learning.
• Perform feature engineering, data cleaning and model performance monitoring.
• Develop visual analytics tools and dashboards for tracking pricing KPIs.
• Translate modelling outcomes into clear, actionable business insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product and claims to integrate analytics into decisions.
