Job summary

Beko Europe is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist fluent in Dutch to join our finance team. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining accounting controls, collecting payments, and safeguarding company assets while collaborating with local finance and sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage disputes by logging them, coordinating the resolution with clients and departments.
• Execute cash collection activities.
• Handle after-sales bonuses for customers.
• Collaborate with Local Finance and Sales teams.
• Manage customer relations and cash application from customer payment advice.
• Process write-offs and bad debt postings.
• Prepare monthly reports and analytics.
• Reduce unapplied and unallocated cash by contacting customers for remittance advice.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

The team you will be a part of

The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

This role in summary

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with the Dutch language to join our finance organization, responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, and safeguarding the organization's assets.

Your responsibilities will include

• Managing disputes by logging them, coordinating the resolution, and clarifying any issues with the client and/or departments in charge
• Cash Collection activities
• Managing after-sales bonuses for customers
• Cooperation with Local Finance, Sales department
• Managing customer relations
• Cash application based on payment advice from the customer
• Write off/ bad debt postings
• Preparing monthly report
• Reducing levels of unapplied and unallocated cash by contacting customers for remittance advice
• Look for areas of improvement in the process
• Good English and fluent Dutch
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred skills and experiences

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position would be an asset
• Studies in the financial area would be an asset
• Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Ability to work within an international environment
• Well-organized and Team spirit-building skills
