Job summary

ABB Finance & Accounting Operations (FAO) Kraków is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable leader to drive end-to-end transaction processing and reporting. You will lead a functional team of 35+ professionals, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.

In this hybrid role, you will develop strategic plans, optimize O2C processes, and partner with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the Finance function with a focus on accounts receivable and reporting.
• 3+ years leading a team of 20+ employees in a finance environment.
• Strong Excel skills and extensive ERP experience; project management and Lean Six Sigma knowledge are a plus.
• Proficient in business English with excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a functional AR team (~35 employees) ensuring complete, accurate, and timely transactions.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with ABB standards and drive service levels.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, SOX audits, and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Global Finance and Krakow teams to optimize end-to-end O2C processes.
• Act as point of contact for escalations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
