Job summary

Assured is seeking a proactive Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance across the business in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5–7 years of hands-on experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. ERP experience (Ramp a plus) and excellent attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Comfortable with ERP systems and Ramp.
• Solid grasp of GAAP standards and core accounting practices.
• Ability to handle ad-hoc requests as necessary.
• Exceptional eye for detail with strong organizational abilities.
• Skilled at juggling priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, motivated, and eager to take ownership without direction.

Responsibilities

• Own ERP (Rillet) implementation, integrations, and data cleanliness.
• Process Ramp transactions and employee reimbursements with correct coding.
• Own AP: communicate with vendors, process invoices, collect W9s, issue 1099s.
• Own balance sheet schedules: prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets.
• Review payroll entries from Rippling with allocations and reconciliation.
• Monthly bank reconciliations to keep records accurate.
• Post AR payments and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Perform monthly flux analysis.
• File Sales and Use tax.
