Job summary

FinanceWithin, a full-service finance and accounting firm for startups and high growth companies, is seeking an Accounting Manager. You will lead the month-end close and act as a consulting partner for multiple client engagements, delivering timely financial statements and analysis.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of full cycle accounting, 2+ years in multi-client settings, and strong expertise in QBO and Xero, with advanced Excel skills and solid business acumen.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full cycle accounting experience.
• 2+ years in a multi-client or consulting role.
• Advanced in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero.
• Experience with e-commerce (Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and client financial statements.
• Cash flow projections and cash position updates.
• Create financial packages with proper margin recognition and reconciliations.
• Inventory management and reconciliations.
• Bank and credit card statement reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of other payment accounts (PayPal, Stripe, etc).
• AR/AP management for clients.
• Payroll management for clients.
• Support as a consultant to clients on accounting related work.
• General ledger accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
