Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions Inc. is seeking a proactive Accounting Consultant to own General Ledger operations, daily transactions and key month-end closings in a scaling global finance function. You will work hands-on in SAP S/4HANA and support SOX controls in a hybrid work model.

This role drives process transformation, policy refinement, system implementations and SSC/GBS transitions, while ensuring compliant US GAAP reporting and timely statutory audits.

Qualifications

• Multinational finance experience, preferably Life Sciences/Pharma.
• Hands-on experience with GL transitions into SSC/GBS.
• ERP systems proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and Blackline is a plus.
• Adaptable, hands-on mindset in a fast-paced, evolving hybrid environment.
• Strong analytical skills with US GAAP and statutory audits experience.
• Fluent English communication; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily GL entries in SAP and take end-to-end ownership of month-end close.
• Manage daily bank statements entries and cash allocations in SAP.
• Produce Balance Sheet reconciliations with appropriate backup and resolve overdue items.
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls and external audits.
• Participate in building/refining accounting policies and GL processes for SSC/GBS.
• Drive continuous improvement and support ad-hoc projects as needed.

The Role & Opportunity

Are you a proactive Accounting Consultant seeking a high-impact position in a scaling global environment?

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to take ownership of General Ledger operations, daily financial transactions, and key month-end closing activities. In this role, you will be at the heart of the company’s finance transformation—playing a vital part in transition projects, process optimization, and establishing robust accounting framework standards.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Closing: Prepare daily GL entries in SAP and take end-to-end ownership of diverse month-end closing checklist activities to ensure accurate, timely book-closing.

• Bank & Cash Allocation: Manage daily inputs of bank statement entries into SAP for designated accounts, securing precise cash allocations.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare thorough Balance Sheet account reconciliations with appropriate supporting backup, proactively resolving any reconciling or overdue items.

• Payroll & Compliance: Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll entries and payments; support SOX compliance, internal controls, and statutory/US GAAP external audits.

• Process Transformation & Strategy: Participate in building and refining accounting policies, operational strategies, system implementations, and GL process transitions into a Shared Services / Global Business Services (SSC/GBS) setup.

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously drive system efficiencies, business practice enhancements, and jump into key ad-hoc/miscellaneous projects as they arise.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Industry Experience: Proven background working within a multinational finance environment, ideally within the Life Sciences / Pharma sector.

• Transition & Shared Services Background: Hands-on experience with GL process transitions into an SSC/GBS framework.

• System Expertise: Strong proficiency with ERP systems and specialized accounting tools (specifically SAP S/4HANA and Blackline (nice to have)).

• Adaptable & Hands-On Mindset: A strong willingness to execute daily transactional accounting while navigating a fast-paced, evolving (currently unstructured) environment in a hybrid work model.

• Analytical & Technical Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities alongside a background supporting US GAAP and local statutory audits.

• Communication: Fluency in spoken and written English with strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity; additional languages are a plus.
