Hempel is offering an Accountant Trainee internship for students eager to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting in an international environment. You will learn practical accounting skills and work closely with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include processing manual payments, reconciling bank statements, entering payments, assisting with vendor documentation, and month-end activities. You will use Excel daily.

As an Accountant Trainee, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience, develop practical accounting skills, and work closely with experienced professionals in an international environment.

In this role, you will:

• Process manual payments in line with established procedures
• Verify and reconcile bank statements
• Process payments and enter them into banking platforms
• Support the team with invoice processing, financial statements, and vendor documentation
• Work with Excel and financial tools on a daily basis
• Assist Accountants during month-end closing activities
• Monitor the team mailbox, handle assigned tasks, and maintain accurate documentation
