Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an independent accounting position (full accounting)
• Knowledge of the Accounting Act and tax regulations
• Knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation accounting
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Independence, accuracy and timeliness in work
• Willingness to learn new processes
• Strong communication skills, flexibility and good organization
• Polish fluency; English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Verify financial documents for formal and accounting accuracy
• Ensure compliance with fixed assets regulations and asset settlements
• Post invoices and other accounting documents (cost, investment, revenue)
• Post bank statements
• Settle employee business trips and expenses
• Prepare reports for GUS, NBP and Intrastat
• Ensure timely closing of accounting periods and assist in financial statements
• Participate in company audits
• Record and settle fixed assets and calculate depreciation
