Job description

We are expanding our Accounting team in Poland and looking for a skilled Accountant to support full-cycle accounting for our international IT business. In this role, you will work with experienced finance professionals, collaborate with teams across different functions, and contribute to accurate and compliant financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain full accounting records for an IT company operating in an international environment
  • Post transactions in an ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger and accounts receivable/payable accounts
  • Post bank statements, settle payments, and monitor receivables and liabilities
  • Manage fixed assets and intangible assets records, including depreciation calculation and posting
  • Settle domestic and foreign business trips
  • Prepare VAT and CIT tax returns and JPK files
  • Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the Accounting Act
  • Support reporting and declarations for Statistics Poland (GUS) and other institutions
  • Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing processes
  • Prepare reports and analyses for management and the group
  • Cooperate with auditors and foreign teams
Qualifications
  • University degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in independently handling full accounting for commercial law companies
  • Very good knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations and the Accounting Act
  • Practical experience with ERP systems – SAP preferred
  • Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
  • Knowledge of GUS reporting, fixed assets, and intangible assets processes
  • Strong organizational skills and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Willingness to work in an international environment and collaborate with teams from other countries
  • English at a level suitable for daily communication
  • Polish – fluent or native
