Job summary

Boston Scientific Poland is seeking an Accountant (Fixed assets) to manage fixed asset processes, CIP entries, and monthly closes across multiple sites. You will ensure financial accuracy, optimize processes, and support SOX/GAAP compliance in a multinational setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and strong English skills. A hybrid work model, professional development, and an international, collaborative environment are offered.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Performing fixed asset processes and acting as a liaison with several supported sites.
• Compiling and analyzing Fixed Asset information through the preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
• Compiling and analyzing Capital in Progress (CIP) financial information through the preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
• Ensuring financial accuracy across all supported sites and supporting monthly legal entity closings.
• Actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
• Establishing and communicating accounting processes while maintaining a thorough understanding of SOX controls, GAAP, and new accounting guidance, as appropriate.
• Delivering on key performance metrics and service levels agreed upon with business partners and management.

Accountant (Fixed assets)

About the role:

This role performs a variety of medium to complex duties in fixed assets and capital in progress such as analyzing accounts, booking necessary journal entries, internal reporting, working with local project managers, performing the monthly financial close, monitoring SOX/internal control requirements, and support audits. This role measures performance against key performance indicators and metrics and continually identifies ways to improve and streamline processes.

You're Responsibilities include:

What We’re Looking For
