Job summary

Oetiker Group in Legnickie Pole, Poland, is seeking a qualified accounting professional with at least 3 years of experience to join our finance team. The role covers AP/AR, GL, tax compliance, and month‑end responsibilities across international operations.

You will work with SAP S/4HANA and BI tools, support audits, and help improve financial processes. A Bachelor’s degree in economics/finance and good English are required for effective collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Bachelor-level degree in economics, finance, business administration or other field.
• Practical knowledge of accounting processes within General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.
• Good knowledge of the Accounting Act and tax regulations, particularly VAT and CIT.
• English proficiency for effective everyday communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Post domestic and foreign purchase invoices.
• Analyze GR/IR accounts and investigate PO quantity/value discrepancies.
• Verify and post business travel expense claims and reimbursements.
• Review documents for accounting, formal and tax compliance.
• Monitor accounts receivable and prepare payment reminders.
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with financial statements and group reporting.
• Assist with tax returns and tax-related reporting.
• Cooperate with external auditors during audits.
• Collaborate with internal departments and international finance teams.
• Engage in accounting/tax projects and process improvements.
• Develop data analysis and reporting using Power BI; work with SAP S/4HANA.

• Posting domestic and foreign purchase invoices
• Analyzing GR/IR accounts and investigating quantity and value discrepancies related to purchase orders on an ongoing basis
• Verifying and posting business travel expense claims and employee expense reimbursements
• Reviewing documents for formal, accounting, and tax compliance
• Monitoring accounts receivable and preparing payments reminder

• Actively participating in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and group reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and tax-related reporting

• Participating in accounting and tax projects, as well as initiatives aimed at improving financial processes
