Job summary

zigabyte seeks a System Administrator II to support the operation, maintenance, and security of Windows Server capabilities in the AFINC III environment. The role installs, configures, hardens, patches, and documents systems, ensuring DISA STIG compliance and local configuration standards.

Responsibilities include day-to-day troubleshooting, capacity reporting, and annual STIG checks. Candidates must obtain a Gunter-Secret security clearance and maintain DoD 8140 IAT-II baseline certs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience administering Microsoft Windows Server in physical and virtual environments for classified/unclassified networks.
• Ability to perform annual DISA STIG compliance checks and remediate findings.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gunter-Secret security clearance.
• Maintain DoD 8140 IAT-II baseline certification (one of: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, harden, patch, and document Windows Server systems.
• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance tuning of Windows Server environments.
• Generate capacity and trending reports and use data to improve system efficiency.
• Conduct annual DISA STIG compliance checks and remediate findings.
