Job summary

Zigabyte in Montgomery, AL seeks a System Administrator I to support operation, maintenance, and security of client systems in an AFINC III environment. You will install, configure, harden, patch, and document systems to meet DISA STIG requirements and local standards.

You will build and deploy STIG-compliant desktop images, troubleshoot hardware, and document actions clearly. Onsite work at government or contractor facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows client endpoints in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to build, patch, and deploy DISA STIG-compliant desktop images.
• Troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
• Ability to document configurations, installations, and corrective actions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, harden, patch, and document systems per STIG requirements.
• Create, patch, and deploy STIG-compliant standard desktop images (individual and mass imaging).
• Install, troubleshoot, and replace peripherals as needed.
• Notify ITEC/PC in writing within 4 hours for accountable item moves.
• Bundle and conceal excess cabling after installations or repairs.
