Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a delivery-focused operations professional to organize deliveries to customers in the right quantity and according to the required specifications, while ensuring smooth customer service.

You will verify receipts against delivery notices, monitor stock availability, and coordinate with Operations, Store Management, Head Office, Buyers, Field Sales, and the Delivery Team to ensure timely, efficient deliveries.

Qualifications

• Graduation is required.
• Experience in logistics or delivery operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize deliveries to customers/clients in the right quantity and according to the required specifications.
• Count, sort, or weigh incoming goods to verify receipts against delivery notices.
• Be thoroughly informed about orders and stock availability, and ensure hands-on, timely, and efficient deliveries along with smooth customer service.
• Ensure smooth coordination and maintain good relationships with Operations, Store Management, Head Office, Buyers, Field Sales, and the Delivery Team, as required.
• Verify daily fuel costs and transactions and ensure proper documentation related to them.
• Maintain the Cash Ledger.
• Keep track of inventory and conduct regular physical counts and cross-checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Acquire customer feedback on a periodic basis.
• Coordinate with Head Office regarding fuel expenses, KPIs, fixed costs, third-party vehicle expenses, etc.
