Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a logistics professional responsible for managing deliveries, stock verification, and ensuring accurate orders. This role emphasizes coordination with Operations, Store Management, Head Office, Buyers, Field Sales, and Delivery Team.

You will track fuel costs, maintain cash ledger, conduct regular inventory counts, and gather customer feedback while upholding service standards in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or wholesale delivery operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize deliveries to customers/clients in the right quantity and according to the required specifications.
• Count, sort, or weigh incoming goods to verify receipts of items against delivery notices.
• Be thoroughly informed about orders and stock availability, and lead hands-on, timely, and efficient deliveries along with smooth customer service.
• Ensure smooth alignment and maintain relationships with Operations, Store Management, Head Office, Buyers, Field Sales, and the Delivery Team, as required.
• Verify daily fuel costs and transactions and ensure proper documentation related to them.
• Maintain the Cash Ledger.
• Keep track of inventory and conduct regular physical counts and cross-checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Acquire customer feedback on a periodic basis.
• Coordinate with Head Office regarding fuel expenses, KPIs, fixed costs, third-party vehicle expenses, etc.
