Job summary

Standard Chartered in Pakistan seeks an Operations Risk professional to ensure seamless processing of Bancassurance, Government securities and Mutual Funds applications, while maintaining AML/CDD controls and risk governance. The role drives process improvements and adheres to service standards across wealth management operations.

It emphasizes timely reporting to senior management, internal controls, and continuous control enhancements within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in wealth management operations and processing of wealth products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to superior service delivery and cost control by ensuring error-free, timely processing of wealth product sales and post-sales applications.
• Design and implement action plans for continuous process improvements to enhance processing efficiency and controls.
• Ensure adherence to service standards, risk controls, and regulatory guidelines in Wealth Management operations.
• Provide timely data/information for reports required by Group, Central Bank and Tax authorities.
• Act as a backup for Line Manager and ensure risk reviews and escalation to risk forums.
