Job summary

Indus Hospital is seeking a warehouse/inventory control professional to maintain the computerized inventory system, update stock records, and ensure proper handling of materials within the hospital supply chain.

The role requires attention to detail, compliance with receiving and issuing protocols (FIFO), and timely coordination with the Warehouse In-charge and Procurement for inventory matters. Strong emphasis on accuracy and security of stock is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 02 years of relevant experience with Bachelors OR minimum 01 year of relevant experience with Masters.
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the computerized inventory system and ensure it is properly updated.
  • Ensure all documentation is maintained and proper protocol followed when receiving stock, including inspecting and verifying quantities, packaging, quality and expiry dates.
  • Ensure goods and stock are properly handled, placed, and segregated category-wise for identification.
  • Ensure goods are correctly issued to departments on FIFO basis, as approved and documented.
  • Maintain physical stock per monthly consumption and present stock; raise purchase requisitions and obtain approvals from HOD.
  • Coordinate loading, unloading and transportation of material to ensure proper handling.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse In-charge and Procurement for inventory matters.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse In-charge for any discrepancies or important warehouse information.
  • Regularly check lock and key systems to avoid security risk.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Head of Department.
