Qualifications

  • Pharmacist licensed to practice in Pakistan.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospital pharmacy.
  • Knowledge of stock control, cold chain handling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to supervise staff and maintain documentation for audits.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and warehouse systems.
  • Monitor FIFO/FEFO stock rotation.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and cold chain management.
  • Inspect incoming supplies for quality and expiry dates.
  • Coordinate timely supply to outlets, wards, and departments.
  • Monitor stock requests and prevent stock-outs/overstocking.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain audit documentation.
  • Train junior staff and supervise reporting staff.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
