Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi seeks a Wing Head - Operations (VP) to lead IFRG operations, governance and staff management for overseas offices. You will drive performance, approvals, and budget alignment across divisions.

The role requires deep knowledge of SBP regulations, banking operations and strong leadership to coordinate across local and international teams within a three-year contractual framework.

Qualifications

• Graduation or equivalent from recognized local or international university.
• Masters degree and/or professional certifications preferred.
• Experience in banking operations, compliance or internal control is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual objectives, job descriptions and performance appraisal for IFRG HO and overseas staff.
• Manage hiring approvals, expenses, promotions, transfers and postings with HRMG.
• Coordinate orientation for Pakistan-based executives overseas and maintain org charts.
• Arrange overseas visits, obtain NOCs and manage staff records, leaves and loans.
• Oversee SBP trainings, procurement requests and renewal of memberships.
• Lead development/implementation of Overseas Posting Policy including tenure and repatriation.
• Supervise Nostro reconciliations and monthly expense reconciliations with FCG.
