Job summary

University of Narowal invites applications for a Visiting Professor to deliver high-quality teaching and support student learning. The incumbent will teach assigned courses, conduct assessments, maintain academic records and comply with university policies and standards.

Key responsibilities include delivering lectures and labs, preparing curricula, developing learning resources, conducting exams, and providing academic guidance during office hours.

Qualifications

• PhD required from HEC-recognized institution.
• Fifteen years of teaching, research or professional experience in a postgraduate institute or university recognized by HEC or international bodies.
• Fifteen publications in journals recognized by the Higher Education Commission, five of which in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals and labs as assigned.
• Prepare and update course outlines in line with the approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials and learning resources.
• Conduct quizzes, assignments, mid-term and final examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and submit grades within deadlines.
• Maintain attendance and academic records accurately.
• Provide academic guidance during office hours.
• Utilize modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Ensure compliance with university rules, policies and quality assurance.
• Participate in department meetings, workshops, and faculty development activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all academic matters.
• Perform other duties assigned by Head of Department or Dean.
