The Role
Lumida is seeking a Video Editor & AI Content Producer to create high-quality, social-native video at speed and scale.

You will turn Lumida’s FSD broadcasts, podcasts, market commentary, investment insights, and marketing ideas into short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, X, Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Threads. You will also create thumbnails, produce daily AI-avatar videos, and develop meme videos designed to expand Lumida’s reach and advance its marketing objectives.

A central part of this role is continuous experimentation. AI video is evolving quickly, and you will be expected to learn new tools, evaluate them, and incorporate the best capabilities into Lumida’s production workflow.

What You’ll Own

Short-Form Video and FSD Clips

Produce and publish 20–30 high-quality short-form clips each week, in addition to the daily AI-avatar video.

Review FSD broadcasts, podcasts, interviews, livestreams, and other long-form content to identify the strongest insights and moments.

Edit for strong hooks, clear storytelling, pacing, retention, captions, music, sound, graphics, and calls to action.

Adapt content for each platform’s aspect ratio, duration, safe zones, caption placement, and audience behavior.

Move quickly on market-sensitive content while maintaining a consistent standard of quality.

AI Avatars and Emerging Tools

Produce and publish one AI-avatar video each business day using HeyGen.

Build distinct AI-avatar personalities with consistent names, appearances, voices, settings, areas of expertise, tone, and visual identity.

Develop character and production guidelines that keep each avatar recognizable across videos and over time.

Turn approved market commentary, research, articles, newsletters, and social posts into concise scripts and engaging avatar videos.

Add supporting headlines, visuals, music, captions, Lumida branding, and platform-specific calls to action.

Continuously evaluate new AI tools for video generation, voice, animation, editing, scripting, and automation.

Rapidly learn and incorporate tools that materially improve creative quality, production speed, consistency, or scale.

Use Claude, Codex, and other AI systems to improve scripting, creative development, production workflows, and performance analysis.

Thumbnails and Content Packaging

Create thumbnails for FSD clips, YouTube videos, and other priority content.

Develop clear concepts with strong visual hierarchy, mobile-safe text, accurate names and tickers, and consistent Lumida branding.

Write or refine titles, descriptions, captions, and calls to action that accurately package the underlying content.

Use click-through, retention, and engagement data to improve titles, thumbnails, hooks, and creative formats.

Meme and Viral Video Development

Create meme videos, reaction edits, remixes, and original short-form concepts designed to increase reach and engagement.

Monitor social platforms for emerging formats, sounds, memes, conversations, and editing styles.

Translate Lumida’s perspectives on markets, investing, AI, technology, tax, and wealth into timely, accessible creative concepts.

Publishing, Performance, and Organization

Own final quality control, formatting, metadata, upload, and publication across Lumida’s social platforms.

Coordinate the publishing calendar with the marketing and media teams.

Track views, watch time, retention, completion rate, click-through rate, engagement, and subscriber growth.

Maintain an organized library of source footage, project files, templates, thumbnails, approved assets, final exports, and published links.

Quality Control

Review every asset for factual accuracy, spelling, captions, names, tickers, numbers, audio, visual quality, cropping, and brand consistency.

Verify all AI-generated scripts, visuals, captions, and voice output before publication.

Ensure subtitles accurately reflect the speaker, including financial and technical terminology.

Apply feedback precisely and carry approved corrections across every relevant version and platform.

Required Skills and Experience

A strong portfolio of short-form social video, YouTube content, branded video, AI-generated video, or related work.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Working proficiency in motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve Fusion, or comparable professional tools.

Hands‑on experience with HeyGen is required.

Experience creating and maintaining AI avatars, including their voice, appearance, setting, and visual consistency.

Strong thumbnail-design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Canva, or comparable design software.

Fluency with YouTube, YouTube Shorts, X, Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Threads.

Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, captions, retention, titles, thumbnails, platform formats, and social trends.

Experience using AI tools for scripting, editing, image generation, video generation, voice, automation, or content analysis.

Strong editorial judgment and written English, including the ability to handle financial and technical terminology accurately.

Ability to manage a high-volume publishing cadence and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.

Experience building AI-assisted production workflows with Claude Code, Codex, the YouTube API, or similar automation tools is valuable.
