ZAPTA Technologies is seeking a hands-on Video Editor in Lahore to produce high-quality video content for brand, products, and services. You will edit for social media, websites, product demos, and marketing campaigns using professional tools and AI-powered features.

Requirements include 1–2 years of experience in IT or tech, proficiency in Premiere Pro/After Effects/DaVinci Resolve/Final Cut Pro, and a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

1–2 years of professional video editing experience in IT/tech.
Proficiency in at least one professional editing tool (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
Hands-on experience with AI-based video tools and able to turn technical concepts into engaging visuals.
Strong storytelling, pacing, framing, and visual composition.

Responsibilities

Edit and produce videos for social media, websites, product demos, client presentations, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
Create short-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, and long-form content for YouTube and corporate use.
Turn technical concepts, software walkthroughs, and product features into clear, engaging visual stories.
Use AI tools to speed up editing, generate visuals, enhance audio, add subtitles, and repurpose content.
Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, sound design, and color correction.
Edit screen recordings and UI/UX walkthroughs for software and app demos.
Work with marketing, design, and business development to meet deadlines and maintain brand consistency.
Organize and maintain a structured library of raw footage, project files, and final assets.
Keep up with video trends, platform best practices, and new AI tools.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Video Editor with experience in the IT or software industry. In this role, you will produce high-quality video content for our brand, products, and services. You should be comfortable with professional editing software and current AI-powered video tools, and able to turn technical ideas into polished, audience-friendly videos.

Key Responsibilities

Edit and produce videos for social media, websites, product demos, client presentations, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
Create short-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, and long-form content for YouTube and corporate use.
Turn technical concepts, software walkthroughs, and product features into clear, engaging visual stories.
Use AI tools to speed up editing, generate visuals, enhance audio, add subtitles, and repurpose content.
Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, sound design, and color correction.
Edit screen recordings and UI/UX walkthroughs for software and app demos.
Work with the marketing, design, and business development teams to understand content needs and meet deadlines.

Requirements

1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
Experience in the IT, software, or technology industry is required.
Proficiency in at least one professional editing tool: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
Hands‑on experience with current AI-based video and creative tools, such as:
- Video generation and editing: Runway, Pika, Sora, Kling, Descript, CapCut AI
- Avatars and voice: HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs
- Image and visual generation: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E
- Productivity and scripting: ChatGPT, Claude, Opus Clip, Submagic
Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, framing, and visual composition.
Basic motion graphics and audio editing skills.
Knowledge of the formats, aspect ratios, and content practices each social media platform requires.
Ability to manage several projects at once and deliver on tight timelines.
A strong portfolio showing relevant work. A portfolio is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Media Studies, Film, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
Experience creating SaaS, app, or software product demo videos.
Basic skills in graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma.
Experience with scriptwriting, storyboarding, or basic shooting and lighting.
