Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites applications for a Vehicle Driver (LTV Heavy Transport) in Balochistan. The driver will operate Toyota Hilux, Isuzu crew cabs and 4x4 vehicles to move line maintenance gangs, heavy transformers and emergency equipment.

Applicants must hold Middle/Matriculation with a valid LTV/HTV driving licence and have at least five years of safe driving experience. Selection includes a hands-on driving skill demo (70 marks) and a traffic-law viva (30 marks).

Responsabilidades

Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) announces recruitment for the post of Vehicle Driver (LTV Heavy Transport) (BPS-06).

The driver is tasked with operating department utility vehicles (Toyota Hilux pickups, Isuzu crew cabs, and 4x4 vehicles) transporting line maintenance gangs, heavy transformers, and emergency equipment.

Key responsibilities encompass pre-trip mechanical checks, navigating difficult mountain passes and unpaved feeder tracks across Balochistan, adhering to national highway safety laws, maintaining vehicle logbooks, and executing emergency roadside repairs (tyre changes, radiator refills).

Selection is determined through a rigorous hands-on driving skill demonstration (70 Marks) including reverse slalom and gradient starting, followed by a technical viva voce (30 Marks) on traffic laws.

No written exam is held.

Middle / Matriculation with valid LTV / HTV Driving Licence issued by competent Licensing Authority.

Minimum 5 years safe driving experience.
