Job summary

Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites applications for a Vehicle Driver (LTV Heavy Transport) in Balochistan. The driver will operate Toyota Hilux, Isuzu crew cabs and 4x4 vehicles to move line maintenance gangs, heavy transformers and emergency equipment.

Applicants must hold Middle/Matriculation with a valid LTV/HTV driving licence and have at least five years of safe driving experience. Selection includes a hands-on driving skill demo (70 marks) and a traffic-law viva (30 marks).

Qualifications

• The candidate has Middle or Matriculation with a valid LTV/HTV driving licence.
• At least five years of safe driving experience.
• Experience operating Toyota Hilux, Isuzu crew cabs and 4x4 vehicles and transporting line maintenance gangs and heavy transformers.
• Selection includes a hands-on driving skill demonstration and a technical viva on traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Operate department utility vehicles (Toyota Hilux pickups, Isuzu crew cabs, 4x4) to transport line maintenance gangs, heavy transformers, and emergency equipment.
• Perform pre-trip mechanical checks and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Navigate mountain passes and unpaved feeder tracks in Balochistan while adhering to highway safety laws.
• Maintain vehicle logbooks and carry out emergency roadside repairs (tyre changes, radiator refills).
