Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Middle pass with valid driving license (LTV/HTV) and clean driving record
• Prescribed Experience: Minimum 5 years driving light/heavy commercial vehicles with valid license

Responsibilities

• Safely drive PCP transport vans, delivery trucks, and staff vehicles on city and highway routes
• Transport gazettes, confidential documents, and printing paper bundles to ministries and post offices
• Perform daily pre-trip checks of engine oil, coolant, brakes, battery, and tires
• Maintain vehicle logbooks and record mileage, fuel, and service intervals
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and interior hygiene of official vehicles
• Report mechanical faults and defects to the Transport Incharge
• Observe traffic regulations, speed limits, parking rules and defensive driving
• Execute tasks like reversing, hill start, and basic vehicle inspections as required
