Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi seeks a Unit Head - HR Audit Readiness & Controls (AVP/VP) to lead the HR governance, risk and controls function. You will oversee submission of Audit information, coordinate with HR Heads and ensure timely responses and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a minimum graduation, 6+ years in compliance/audit/risk, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in Compliance, Audit or Risk Management.
• HEC-recognized graduation; Masters or professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure submission of internal audit information from HR divisions.
• Arrange meetings between Auditors and HR heads as required.
• Disseminate audit observations to HR divisions for comments and rectification.
• Review internal audit periodical reporting including status updates and annexures.
• Coordinate follow-ups to meet deadlines.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Reporting to:

Wing Head - HR Governance, Risks and Controls

Educational / Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute

recognized by the HEC of Pakistan

• Candidates having a Masters degree and / or any other professional certification will be

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 06 years of working experience, out of which at least 03 years of experience in Compliance and / or Audit and / or Risk Management

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To review & ensure submission of pre / post Internal Audit information received from all HR Divisions / Wings as per requirement of Audit Teams
• To arrange / coordinate meetings of Auditors with concerned HR Heads / Officials as and when Required
• To review and ensure dissemination of relevant observations pointed out by Internal Auditors vide their draft / Final Audit reports to all HR Divisions / Wings / Departments for Management Comments / Compliance / Rectification
• To review and ensure submission of Internal Audit periodical reporting as and when required including:
• Updated status / HR response against instances / annexures, etc. from all HR Divisions Wings
• Clearance Certificate & Compliance report after completion of internal audit of HR Divisions
• Regular follow ups with concerned offices for meeting the deadline
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
