The Travel Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Bank’s travel, accommodation, and event-related requirements while ensuring timely service delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end domestic and international travel arrangements, including flight bookings, changes, cancellations, and travel itineraries.
- Coordinate hotel and accommodation arrangements for employees, management, and other authorized travellers.
- Coordinate transportation and other travel-related requirements as needed.
- Manage travel-related vendors, including travel agencies, hotels, and other service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and adherence to agreed terms and service standards.
- Support the planning and coordination of corporate events, meetings, conferences, and other official gatherings.
- Maintain accurate records of travel bookings, expenses, invoices, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill travel and accommodation requirements in a timely manner.
- Ensure all travel and event-related activities are conducted in line with the Bank’s policies, procedures, approval matrix, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review travel-related costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficient resource utilization.
- Resolve travel-related issues and provide timely support to employees and management.
- Prepare periodic reports and maintain relevant data related to travel, accommodation, vendors, and events.
- Liaise with relevant internal departments, including Finance, Procurement, Administration, and business teams, as required.
- Perform any other duties or assignments entrusted by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in travel management, corporate travel, lodging/accommodation, administration, or event management.
- Prior experience in a corporate environment, preferably within the banking or financial services sector, will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of travel booking processes, accommodation arrangements, and event coordination.
- Experience in managing travel and hospitality vendors and service providers.
- Good understanding of organizational policies, compliance requirements, and approval processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
