Key Responsibilities

• – Lead and coordinate research and development initiatives, including enzyme production and process development activities.
• – Drive the development, optimization, technical evaluation, and continuous improvement of the company’s enzyme product portfolio.
• – Maintain and supervise production cultures, ensuring the availability of suitable cultures for inoculum development used in fermenter production.
• – Oversee fermentation processes, enzyme recovery, downstream processing, product concentration, and storage operations.
• – Coordinate the preparation, review, and updating of technical documentation such as technical data sheets (TDS), production records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• – Monitor laboratory and production activities to ensure effective collaboration between Production, R&D, and QA/QC departments.
• – Track monthly laboratory expenses and liaise with the accounts department for budget management.
• – Work closely with the procurement team to manage chemical and consumable purchase requests based on production and laboratory needs.
• – Ensure proper operational condition and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
