Job summary

MASEL in Lahore is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. The role focuses on load calculations, cable sizing, protection, and distribution design, ensuring compliance with international and local standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with fresh or 2+ years of relevant design experience and proficiency in ETAP or Dialux. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh or 2+ years of relevant design engineering experience.
• Proficiency in ETAP, Dialux, or other design tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes & standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, protection, and distribution design.
• Conduct Electrical Equipment Sizing, Lighting, Earthing and Lightning Protection Calculations.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc., and local regulations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams for integrated designs.
• Review vendor documents, technical specifications, and equipment selection.
• Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning.
• Assist in cost estimation and project planning for electrical scope.
• Ensure all deliverables meet safety, quality, and project deadlines.
