Job summary

People Perfect in Model Town, Lahore is looking for a detail-oriented Trade & Banking Officer (Imports & Exports) to manage end-to-end trade operations for a leading packaging company. You will handle LC/BC processing, import-export documentation, and coordination with banks, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure accurate and timely trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Commerce, Finance or Supply Chain.
• 1–3 years of Import/Export documentation, Trade Finance, or Commercial Banking experience.
• Knowledge of LC, BC, customs procedures, SBP regulations, and EFS preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process Letters of Credit (LC), Bills for Collection (BC), DA, DP, and import contracts.
• Manage import/export documentation and maintain accurate filing systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and banks to ensure smooth trade transactions.
• Follow up on FI, shipping documents, SWIFT messages, and bank approvals.
• Ensure compliance with EFS/SBP regulations across all trade activities.
• Maintain trade records and prepare regular reporting for management.
• Support the finance department in trade-related operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including Finance and Procurement.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Finance Controller.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
