Role Description The Tendering Engineer role at IPSP (PRIVATE) LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division. The Tendering Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical and commercial quotations for electrical services and power-related projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing tender documents, coordinating with procurement and engineering teams for cost estimates, and preparing competitive bids. The role involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify specifications, negotiate terms where needed, and track tender status and outcomes. The Tendering Engineer will also support documentation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of tendering processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Electrical Engineering, with a solid understanding of power projects and industrial electrical systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing Quotations and tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for evaluating specifications, costs, risks, and competitive positioning.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Procurement processes, vendor coordination, and cost estimation for materials and services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in tendering or proposals within electrical services, construction, or power projects is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with relevant tendering or ERP tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
