Job Summary

HireOn is recruiting on behalf of a leading client in Lahore seeking a Technical Project Manager, with 5+ years of experience managing end-to-end software development, cloud, data, and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with proven project management capabilities to lead cross-functional teams, drive project execution, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline.

The Technical Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, QA teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining project governance, risk management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple technology projects simultaneously.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Software Development, QA, DevOps, Cloud, Data Engineering, and Business teams.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality standards and budget objectives.
• Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
• Drive effective communication between technical teams, business users, vendors, and leadership.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.
• Support requirements gathering, solution planning, effort estimation, and project roadmap development.
• Collaborate with technical architects and engineering leads to resolve delivery challenges and technical dependencies.
• Track project KPIs, resource utilization, project financials, and overall delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or Program Manager.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience managing software development and technology implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master).
• Experience managing Cloud Migration, Data Engineering, AI/ML, or Digital Transformation projects.
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture and Solution Delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management processes.
