Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise observability and IT operations initiatives from project kickoff through roadmap delivery and pilot implementation.
• Manage project scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Facilitate workshops with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, managed services, and vendor teams.
• Build trusted relationships with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, progress reports, and decision papers.
• Assess existing monitoring and observability practices and identify improvement opportunities.
• Define monitoring ownership models and governance processes.
• Support planning and implementation of observability pilots.
• Develop governance frameworks, onboarding guides, and review processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Escalate blockers proactively to protect timelines.
• Translate technical discussions into business-ready documentation and recommendations.

Job Summary

Telerelation is seeking a polished, proactive, and highly accountable Technical Program Lead – Observability & IT Operations to lead a strategic client engagement focused on enterprise observability, monitoring optimization, and IT operations transformation. This is a client-facing leadership role suited for professionals with experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Operations, IT Service Management, Application Support, Monitoring, or Technical Consulting who have successfully transitioned into cross-functional program leadership. The role emphasizes stakeholder management, strategic planning, governance, and execution rather than deep hands-on engineering. The ideal candidate can translate technical discussions into structured roadmaps, executive-ready recommendations, and measurable operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Stakeholder Leadership

• Lead enterprise observability and IT operations initiatives from project kickoff through roadmap delivery and pilot implementation.
• Manage project scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Facilitate workshops with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, managed services, and vendor teams.
• Build trusted relationships with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, progress reports, and decision papers.

Observability & Monitoring

• Assess existing monitoring and observability practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring quality and reduce alert fatigue.
• Review enterprise monitoring platforms and recommend practical improvements.
• Define monitoring ownership models and governance processes.
• Support application observability pilot planning and implementation.

Governance & Process Improvement

• Develop governance frameworks, monitoring standards, onboarding guides, and review processes.
• Create practical 30-, 60-, and 90-day implementation roadmaps.
• Establish service ownership models and RACI matrices.
• Drive continuous process improvement across IT Operations.

Program Management

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and project outcomes.
• Escalate blockers proactively before they impact delivery.

Client Communication

• Convert technical discussions into business-friendly documentation.
• Present recommendations clearly to leadership teams.
• Align stakeholders on priorities, ownership, and implementation strategy.
• Ensure transparency throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5-7+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
