Job summary

Stylo Pvt Ltd seeks a Technical Designer - Product Development to join its footwear team. You will receive complete data for new products, assemble the PDP, and keep the schedule updated to meet domestic and international commitments.

You will prepare technical packs, monitor samples in the Sample Factory, ensure SOP compliance, and participate in technical meetings with size, fit and wear testing. A 5+ year track record in footwear development is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor with technical course in footwear.
• Minimum 5 years in footwear development with international and local customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop PDP and coordinate the product development plan.
• Keep PDP schedule up to date and inform PD Manager of deviations.
• Prepare technical packs for products in development.
• Monitor samples in the Sample Factory.
• Ensure SOPs for product development are followed.
• Participate in product technical meetings; conduct size, fit and wear testing.
• Focus on efficiency and optimize material usage.
• Motivate and lead the development team.

TECHNICAL DESIGNER - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Description

• Receive the complete data of the new product to be developed (Creative and Technical development Activities) and put together the general Product Development Plan – PDP.
• Keep the overall PDP (Product Planning and Development) schedule up to date.
• Keep the PD Manager informed about the fulfillment of the PDP schedule and the respective corrective actions taken in eventual deviations that could compromise deliverables for developments for the domestic market and commitments with customers in the foreign market.
• Coordinate the prepare for technical pack for all products in development.
• Monitor the samples in Sample Factory.
• Ensure that all SOP's for products Development are being fully complied with.
• Participate Products Technical meetings. Conduct size testing, fit testing and wear testing
• Continuous focus in efficiency. Fill daily development schedule.
• Carry out performance evaluation of employees under his/her responsibility
• Optimize the use of available material resources.
• Maintain and stimulate the organization, discipline and motivation as a team.

Qualification

Bachelor with Technical Course in Footwear

Required Skills

• Be artistic, creative and able to draw
• Have an eye for color, texture and pattern and have good attention to detail
• Understand the properties of different materials & dyes and the production processes of textiles
• Have knowledge of the market and be able to predict new trends

Experience

Minimum of 5 years working in the Footwear Development Process with international and Pakistani customers.
