Times Real Estate is seeking a Tax Consultant based in Islamabad to support clients with tax compliance, planning, and advisory needs. The role requires strong knowledge of Pakistan’s tax framework and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance for clients.

The candidate will prepare, review, and coordinate tax returns and related documentation, work with client records, and ensure timely, accurate tax submissions while maintaining confidentiality and deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Working knowledge of Pakistan’s income tax laws, sales tax rules, and applicable filing procedures.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting tax returns and statutory tax documentation.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, ledgers, invoices, and supporting records for tax accuracy.
• Research skills for interpreting tax legislation, notifications, and regulatory guidance.
• Competence in spreadsheet tools and accounting or tax preparation software.
• Strong written and verbal communication for explaining tax matters to clients and colleagues.
• Careful attention to detail, confidentiality, record keeping, and deadline management.
• Professional judgment and a practical, compliant approach to resolving tax queries and discrepancies.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, statements, and related documentation.
• Research applicable tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements, and communicate updates to clients.
• Assess financial records to identify tax exposures, deductions, and opportunities for compliant tax planning.
• Respond to client questions and assist with tax notices, audits, assessments, and other correspondence with authorities.
• Maintain organized, confidential client files and track filing deadlines and outstanding information.
• Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve the accuracy of tax data.
