HiredAbhi in Karachi is seeking a Manager, Tax & Compliance to lead all direct and indirect tax matters for our organization. The role owns tax compliance, filings, assessments and audits, advises management on the tax impact of business decisions and changes in tax law, and leads the taxation team.

The ideal candidate has 8 to 10 years of taxation experience in Pakistan, an MBA with ACCA/ACAM preferred, and strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with tax

• 8–10 years of taxation experience in Pakistan.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan's direct and indirect tax laws, including income tax, sales tax and withholding tax.
• Hands-on experience handling tax assessments, audits, notices and appeals with the tax authorities.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a taxation team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns and statements, and timely payment of taxes.
• Manage tax assessments, audits, notices and appeals, and lead correspondence with the tax authorities.
• Review the tax implications of business transactions, contracts and agreements.
• Track changes in tax law and advise management on their impact.
• Develop tax planning strategies that reduce tax risks and liabilities.
• Work with external tax consultants, auditors and government authorities.
• Keep tax records, reconciliations and supporting documentation complete and audit-ready.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning on tax matters.
• Lead, mentor and develop the taxation team.
