Job summary

People Perfect is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee full tax compliance for an EPC/Construction project in Islamabad. You will manage tax filings, payments, deductions, and reporting, coordinating with FBR and external consultants.

The role requires a strong background in taxation, accounting, and finance, with 6+ years of experience and ACCA/CA preferred. Location is Islamabad; salary range is PKR 170,000–300,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Taxation.
• ACCA or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of total professional experience in taxation, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in accounting firms or large organizations is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance of project tax matters with Pakistan tax laws.
• Prepare, review, and submit all tax declarations and payments on time.
• Manage tax deductions and prevent penalties or late payments.
• Develop and maintain tax schedules and monthly status reports.
• Handle processing of tax exemption and reduction certificates for EPC projects.
• Maintain proper tax documentation and archives.

Job Overview:

People Perfect is looking to hire a Tax Manager for one of our leading clients in the EPC/Construction industry based in Islamabad. The role is responsible for managing full tax compliance in line with Pakistan tax laws, including tax filings, payments, deductions, reporting, and tax exemption matters. The position also involves maintaining tax records, preparing monthly tax reports, ensuring strong internal financial compliance, and coordinating with FBR and external consultants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance of project tax matters with all applicable tax laws and regulations of Pakistan, and monitor updates in tax policies.
• Prepare, review, and submit all tax declarations and payments accurately and on time.
• Manage tax deductions and ensure prevention of penalties or overdue payments.
• Develop and maintain tax schedules and payment plans; prepare monthly tax status reports (covering tax types and amounts).
• Handle processing of tax exemption and reduction certificates for EPC projects.
• Establish and maintain proper tax documentation and archives (tax certificates, audit reports, etc.).
• Perform other tax-related duties as assigned.
• Review accuracy, timeliness, and standardization of accounting entries.
• Ensure compliance and internal control of financial operations.
• Supervise team members and ensure timely completion and quality of work.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:
