ACCA Careers in Pakistan seeks a Tax & Regulatory Liaison Specialist to regulate day-to-day taxation matters, including quarterly and annual filings to the FBR, with emphasis on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) for securities. You will liaise with FBR and other authorities, draft official letters, and resolve CGT discrepancies with AMCs, brokers, PMEX, and investors.

Coordination with internal departments and auditors will be essential, and you will ensure ISMS, business continuity and quality management

Responsabilités

• Regulate and monitor day to day taxation matters including quarterly and annual statements to FBR.
• Manage and coordinate all tax-related matters, focusing on CGT for securities transactions.
• Liaise with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on CGT, tax computation, collection, reporting, clarification, and other taxation-related matters.
• Prepare and submit responses, explanations, clarifications, and supporting information against queries/notices received from FBR.
• Draft official letters, replies, explanations, and representations to government departments and regulatory authorities.
• Handle investor queries and complaints relating to CGT matters.
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments, AMCs, brokers, PMEX, investors, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve CGT-related discrepancies and queries.
• Comply with ISMS policies and procedures including any other requirements set forth considering contractual, legal and regulatory needs of the company.
• To ensure compliance of Information Security, Business Continuity and Quality Management system policies & procedures and actively participate in internal and external audits as per their roles and responsibilities.
