Job summary

CureMD is seeking a Tax Analyst to join the Finance team in Lahore. You will prepare tax returns, help optimize tax liabilities, and support audits while ensuring compliance with evolving tax laws. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of tax processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of taxation experience.
• Solid understanding of federal, state, and international tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Proficiency with accounting software, especially QuickBooks (a plus).
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities."
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on-site during hybrid-shift timings (12:00 PM PKST to 9:00 PM PKST).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns, including income, sales, and other applicable taxes.
• Assist in developing tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and identify potential savings opportunities.
• Conduct detailed analyses of tax accounts and coordinate with finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Support tax audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
• Stay updated on tax law changes to ensure compliance and advise on adjustments.
• Assist in transfer pricing documentation and analyze intercompany transactions for compliance.
• Provide tax insights and reports to senior management highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes, workflows, and systems.

• Assist in developing tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and identify potential savings opportunities.
• Conduct detailed analyses of tax accounts and collaborate with the finance team to address and resolve discrepancies.
• Support tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Stay updated on tax law and regulation changes to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Assist in transfer pricing documentation and analyze intercompany transactions for compliance.
• Provide tax insights and reports to senior management, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
